I sat down infront of my computer and open up the terminal and typed 'nano test' just to see what it was like and it was great! I felt a bit artistic so I wrote my first ever computer related poem 100% in Nano:

This is Unix
I feel its power
Going through this system
coming up the keyboard
entering my vains
and releasing me...

iPod Nano scratches? Yeh right

Recently you may have heard about Nano's screens getting badly scratched, this is total bull.

The Nano's screen is made of the same material as the Mini's screen is made of, and therefore should be similair to the Mini's high profile scratch cases/
What? you never heard of anyone complaining so much about their Mini's scratches? Neither have I.
Apple has also confirmed that the number of complaints it has recieved about the screens is about 500, a tiny percentage of the Nanos they've sold, heck, they dont even have enough to supply everyone that wants one!

No matter what you buy, if it has a screen and it's portable, it'll get scratched at some point, it's a fact.

Also, if my memory serves me correctly, a tech site (may have been AnandTech, cant remember) drove a car over the Nono and it still played, so it is obviously very durable.

So don't let these myths that every Nano's screen will scratch so much that you wont be able to see anything within days of buying it change your mind on buying a Nano, go out and enjoy muic on a device thinner than a pencil!

Jon Kelly

At my primary school, there was once a janitor, and he commited suicide.
Everyone knew there was a janny who committed suicide, but we didnt know his name until 2 years ago, his name was Jon Kelly. Me and some friends went down to the school basement and saw a message saying 'Jon Kelly killed himself here on 9th May, 1962'.
Unfortunatley, my primary school has been closed, and may be demolished at some point in the future, therfore destroying all memory of Jon Kelly. I don't want this, therefore the 9th of May will be Jon Kelly day from now on, and we will simply think about what we think he could have been like and why he killed himself.

Wow, you know how you get music in .mp3 ? Well, theres a new kid on the block, its .ogg . It sounds so much better than MP3 at low bitrates, and at higher bitrates, although they sound similair, ogg comes in a a smaller file size. Plus, Ogg Vorbis is free from licencing fees and patents, so it's totally free!

Google vs. Microsoft

Keep searching using Google! Don't use MSN search! It doesnt have as many sites in it's database, it's slower, the search site is a lot more cluttered than Google's and it doesnt work as nicely on platforms other than Windows.
And Hotmail, sure, you can use Hotmail if you want, but why not go for something better? Say 2.6gb of storage space? GMail is new, and it's invitation only, but fortunately, I have 100 invites to give out, so just post a comment and I'll send you one. Hey, even if your not a regular reader of my blog, you can have one!

Wait, wtf am i worried about?

What am i worried about? I only wrote on a board! I didn't kill anyone! It's just everyone is askin about it and makin it seem like a big deal, although Ms Boyle is *apparently* calling the Board of Governors to see what I wrote, i hope thats not true.
But I didnt actually write it, it was wee Jack!
If anythin bad happens, I'll play the good ol' 'But my life's goin bad at the moment' card.
I could include such facts as My gran's at death's door (well, she was, she's gettin better, but they dont know that), and I cant actually think of anythin else, so I could say 'and other things istill need to get my head round', you know wot i mean, but they dont :-)

Oh shit

I was coming out of music at the end of the day and Daryll came up and said 'Oh Jack, naughty naughty, Mr Elstone wants to speak to you', right then my heart almost fucking exploded.
So I went up to his office, deciding that it was best to come clean, but I couldnt find him. Im in such deep shit.
I phoned my mum and asked her wot I should do, and she said to find someone else to tell, but I like Mr Elstone, so I wanted to tell him. But my dad picked me up, and I still hadnt found him, so my mum's phonin the school to ask to speak to him. She's not phoned back yet, so I suppose she got through to him.
What will happen to me!?
People were asking me all after school ' Jack! Was it you who wrote that on the board?' and I was like 'no... well' and then walked away.
And you'll never believe this, I was walking along and saw my German teacher talking to another modern languages teacher, and the other teacher whispered something to my german teacher when she saw me, and my german teacher looked at me and gasped! Shit! All the teachers know! God damn it, Im so worried now.
It's like that book 1984, you cant go against the leader, they know everything, and THEY'RE WATCHING YOU (well, they're watching me).

Ubuntu Linux

Hey people! Im still alive, and the blog is still going.

Just thought I'd say that if you want to get out of your Microsoft Windows world, but cant afford a new iMac, you can use Ubuntu Linux! www.ubuntu.com

It's pretty good, but USB Modems/USB Wireless Conections are not good with Linux, it takes a lot of tweaking unfortunatley.

I hope to start blogging more, after all, it increasies your I.Q!

Basically just now im listening to Celiene Dion over and over again because I just need to cry, otherwise I'll become one of these freaky people that have no emotions. I'm a person, and contrary to popular belief, not a computer.

Hey peepl! I've decided to change the design for my blog because I prefer this one. Also it is possible to make more small changes to the design without the changes looking out of place :-)

I'm planning on doing a few modifications, mainly to the sidebar and the title section at the top, but relativley small changes, please comment when I finalise the design!!

I am in sooo much pain right now, it is like 07:34 and I can hardly move. It's all because of that f***ing Mr Russel, yesterday he had us run round the outside of the school twice, i was ok with the first lap, but the second lap was aweful. Well, at least it'll *supposedly* get us fitter
